Builder Incentives
SnoPUD Green Home Rewards offer participating builders:
- Rebates ranging from $700-$1,200 per home or multifamily unit
- Free technical support and marketing materials
- Program requirements align with federal tax credits
Financial incentives are available for builders of new single-family (SF) and multi-family (MF) homes serviced by Snohomish County PUD.

Income Qualified Bonus Qualifications:
- For multifamily properties with five or more units, a minimum of 51% of the units to be income qualified (or “low income”) for building or complex to qualify.
- A copy of an approved application for the HOME Funds (WA state) or 9% Tax Credits (Federal) Funds (or other documentation as pre-approved by the PUD) to be submitted with the final As-Built project documentation.
- Bonus to be applied at project closeout once all documentation has been received.
- The IQ bonus applies to the entire building, not just the IQ units.
*Annual kWh savings are determined by comparing the newly constructed home against a code-minimum custom SnoPUD Green Home Rewards reference home using REM/Rate software.
